Al-Hayy means 'The Ever-Living' or 'The Alive'. It signifies that Allah is the One who has perfect, eternal life without beginning or end. His life is not like the life of His creation—it does not depend on a soul, body, or any physical form. He is the source of all life, and He never dies. His life encompasses all attributes of perfection. Quran References: 'And rely upon the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy) who never dies' (25:58). 'Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence' (2:255). Spiritual Significance: Al-Hayy reminds us that all life comes from Allah and returns to Him. He alone is truly alive and everlasting. Benefit: Reciting Al-Hayy brings spiritual vitality, increases one's connection to the source of life, and protects from spiritual death. It is beneficial for those seeking to revive their faith.
