الشرح والدلالة · Explanation

الحكم هو الذي يحكم بين عباده بما أراد، ولا رادّ لحكمه.

Al-Hakam means 'The Judge' or 'The Arbitrator'. It signifies that Allah is the ultimate judge who decides between His servants with perfect justice and wisdom. His judgment is absolute, final, and beyond appeal. He resolves disputes, distinguishes truth from falsehood, and settles all matters with fairness. No one can overturn His decision. Quran References: 'Then He will judge between them in truth, and He is the Just Judge (Al-Hakam), the All-Knowing' (34:26). 'Is not Allah the most just of judges?' (95:8). Spiritual Significance: Al-Hakam reminds us that ultimate justice belongs to Allah. When we face injustice, we turn to Him who judges with perfect fairness. Benefit: Reciting Al-Hakam brings justice in one's affairs, protects from oppression, and helps in making fair decisions. It is beneficial for those facing legal issues or seeking resolution in disputes.
