السميع هو الذي يسمع الأصوات كلها، سرّها وجهرها، بلا مشقة.

As-Sami' means 'The All-Hearing'. It signifies that Allah hears all sounds, voices, and thoughts, whether spoken aloud or hidden in the heart. His hearing is not dependent on ears or instruments; it is perfect and encompasses everything. He hears the whisper of the soul, the silent prayer, and the loudest cry.
