العفو هو الذي يمحو السيئات ويتجاوز عن الذنوب.

Al-Afuww means 'The Pardoner' or 'The Effacer'. It signifies that Allah is the One who wipes away sins, erases misdeeds, and pardons His servants generously. While Al-Ghafoor covers sins, Al-Afuww completely removes them, leaving no trace. His pardon is vast and His forgiveness is comprehensive. He loves to forgive and accepts repentance. Quran References: 'Indeed, Allah is Pardoning (Al-Afuww) and Forgiving' (4:43). 'And let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you?' (24:22). Spiritual Significance: Al-Afuww gives immense hope to sinners. It reminds us that Allah can completely erase our sins when we turn to Him sincerely. Benefit: Reciting Al-Afuww frequently brings forgiveness, erases past sins, and purifies the heart. It is especially beneficial during Ramadan and times of repentance.
