الشرح والدلالة · Explanation
العليم هو الذي أحاط علمه بكل ظاهر وباطن، ما كان وما يكون.
Al-Alim means 'The All-Knowing' or 'The Omniscient'. It signifies that Allah has perfect and complete knowledge of everything—the seen and unseen, the past, present, and future. He knows what is in the hearts, what is hidden in the depths of the earth, and what is in the highest heavens. Nothing, not even the weight of an atom, escapes His knowledge. His knowledge is not acquired but inherent and eternal. Quran References: 'Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing (Al-Alim) of everything' (29:62). 'And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him' (6:59). Spiritual Significance: Al-Alim reminds us that Allah knows our intentions, struggles, and sincerity. This encourages honesty and mindfulness in all matters. Benefit: Reciting Al-Alim increases wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. It helps in gaining clarity and protects from ignorance and error.
